Dermagraft® is an FDA-approved, bioengineered human dermal substitute indicated for the healing of diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs).
Dermagraft helps restore the compromised wound bed and heal DFUs by providing metabolically active fibroblasts seeded on a bioabsorbable scaffold that produce many of the same proteins and growth factors that support the healing response in healthy skin: human collagen, extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins, and cytokines and growth factors. Through extensive research, Dermagraft has been proven to close more DFUs, faster both in clinical and real world settings.
