The Vacuum Pressure Handle frees up a hand for the clinician and can be used on multiple syringes during a single operation.
Procedural Steps Using VPH With Manual Tissue Aspiration
Step 1: Use standard technique to infiltrate the aspiration site with tumescent fluid.
Step 2: Attach aspiration cannula to the syringe with the vac handle already assembled. The vac handle has two positons, one at the 15cc mark and the other at the 30cc mark.
Step 3: Insert aspiration cannula into the body and pull back on syringe plunger until it snaps into place at the first notch in the blue vac- handle. This step now maintains vacuum pressure in the syringe at the 15cc mark.
For additional vacuum, pull back plunger until it snaps in place at the top of the vac handle. This step now maintains vacuum pressure in the syringe at the 30cc mark.
