Product Overview

The Proximal Femur Locking Plate System is developed for repairing multifragmenty fractures, nonunions and malunions, periprosthetic fractures, fractures in normal or osteopenic bone and osteotomies of proximal femur.

The design of the plates and unique instruments provide the comfortable operation conditions and create a fit that no additional bending and are helpful for metaphyseal/diaphyseal reduction.

Multiple bone screw option of the anatomic plates provide to fix the multifragmentary fractures easily and correctly.

For easy recognition, all the anatomic shaped Left plates are colored bLue and the Right plates are colored gReen.

The tapered plate shaft design allow for a minimally invasive technique with submuscular passage of the plate.

The Proximal Femur Locking Plate System has a wide option for the screw diameters and the sizes. All the screw diameter has the same screw head shape and surgeon can choice to use any of the screw diameter between 3.5mm and 7.0mm anytime. The screw head and plate interface is designed as low profile and it minimizes potential for irritation or impingement of soft tissue.

The Proximal Femur Locking Plate System is also available for combined using with the Bridge Titanium Cable System and Connectors for the complex long bone fractures or periprosthetic fractures.

The Bridge Cable System is a multifilament Titanium cable and sleeve used in cerclage fixation procedures. To provide superior tensile strength and flexibilty, each cable includes 49 strands of twisted wire.

The locking and nonlocking connectors are indicated for fractures that may not be securely held by either a screw or a cerclage device alone. The connectors are suitable with the screw holes of the narrow and broad straight plates, proximal femoral plate, distal femoral plate, proximal tibial plate and distal tibial plate. The connectors provide convenience during the surgery. There is also connector for the screw head hex slots.
