KeriFlex Finger Joint Implants from KeriMedical are flexible, one-piece, hinged implants manufactured from silicone designed to replace damaged metacarpophalangeal and proximal interphalangeal joints (MCP and PIP, respectively). They provide a strong and durable option when treating painful MCP and PIP joints in patients.
KeriFlex implants provide strength, flexibility, and durability. The anatomically neutral implant design features:
• Pre-flexed, joint-hinge design mimics how our hands naturally rest (15° PIP/ 30° MCP), while decreasing stress on the implant
• Provides flexion in the hinge region
• Square shape hinge is reduced in height to limit conflicts with extensors apparatus and increased in width to improve lateral stability
• Anatomic shape offers a better fit
• 12 total sizes (5 PIP/ 7 MCP) to accommodate varying patient anatomies
• Midsection maintains proper joint space and alignment with good lateral stability with no flexion/extension restriction
